Vincent W. Antonetti, Ph.D. is an emeritus professor at Manhattan College. He is a weight control and fitness expert who has lectured on fitness at IBM Management and Professional Development classes and often speaks on fitness and weight control.
Among his many publications is his highly regarded “The Equations Governing Weight Change in Human Beings,” published in the prestigious American Journal of Clinical Nutrition. Dr. Antonetti’s critically acclaimed book The Computer Diet was given Consumer Guide magazine’s highest recommendation.

Recently, Dr. Antonetti coauthored "A Computational Tool to Simulate Energy Balance Components in Pharmacological Interventions," presented at Obesity Week 2016. He also co-authored (with Professor Diana Thomas) "Dynamic Modeling of Energy Expenditure to Estimate Dietary Energy Intake," Chapter 12 in Advances in the Assessment of Dietary Intake, published July 2017 by CRC Press. He is currently working with Professor Thomas on a paper tentatively titled "Guidelines for Waist Circumference for Healthy Adults."
Professor Antonetti is a life long exercise and nutrition enthusiast. Although a senior citizen he still maintains a vigorous physical fitness program - and has managed to maintain his weight to within 2 lbs (about one kg) of the 154 lbs (70 kg) it was when he graduated from college many years ago.
Adrian. C. Kanaar, MD, MRCP, FRCS The late Dr. Kanaar was the Director of Physical Medicine in the Division of Physical Restoration of the Department of Public Health, Associate Professor at University of Buffalo Medical School and a specialist in rehabilitation medicine.
Dr. Kanaar had been cited for community leadership in physical fitness and was a member of The American College of Sports Medicine. His numerous publications include papers and book chapters on physical fitness and sports. An endurance athlete, at age 74 Dr. Kanaar was (and still is) the oldest person to swim the 28.5 miles (46 km) around New York City's Manhattan Island.
